Hyundai Dymos recently announced it is investing $35 million to build a Kia manufacturing plant in West Point, creating 350 new jobs.

Founded in 1994, Hyundai Dymos is a South Korean company that manufactures manual transmissions, axles and seats for automobiles.

The facility will provide seats for the Sorento and is expected to start making parts November 2014.

Hiring will begin in January.
